BIOGRAPHY
Stephen Nachtigall is a visual artist born in Calgary, Canada. He received a B.F.A. in Sculpture from the Alberta College of Art & Design in 2011. His practice bridges a number of mediums including sculpture, painting, installation and digital art. He has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Canada, Scotland, Germany and the United States where he is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Oregon.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
While in residence with the Calgary Allied Arts Foundation, the artist will be contemplating indeterminacy and preparing a body of work as a precursor to his MFA thesis project.
