Megan Conley

CAAF Residency, July – September 2021

Megan will be working on her project “Faces of Alberta, Trauma Series – Stage 3”, a sculptural installation that will consist of unnamed Alberta participants who will be three-dimensionally scanned. Using the method of structured light capture, Megan will create a three-dimensional digital portrait of each person which then becomes a physical sculpture. This project starts a conversation surrounding individual struggle, physical and mental trauma and how artistic process and production can be used as a therapeutic visual language.
